I know it’s been a long time since my last post, but I wanted to assure you that I’m still here and haven’t gone anywhere, literally and figuratively. Unfortunately this fall and winter I have not been on any hikes, done any snowshoeing or skiing as I normally would be doing during this time of the year. It’s been disappointing to say the least.
Sure we all get busy in our daily lives of work and etc, but I have to remember to remind myself and my friends that that’s what being outdoors is for. It’s for us to enjoy and to balance our hectic daily lives of corporate America, running kids to and from school or some sports or dance practice, family obligations, etc. I allowed myself to fall victim to not maintaining that balance these last few months. But I am here to say that I am back now to maintaining that balance in my life. When I am not able to be out in nature, I can at the least provide you with information on activities and such, post more photos, etc to keep this site of interest to you.
So I leave you with this. It photo I was able to capture yesterday morning at City Park here in Denver as I was out to get in a session of cardio. It was an unexpected opportunity that I will treasure for the rest of my life. The American Bald Eagle, a symbol of this nation’s freedom. Seen in and out of it’s element and I was able to capture it to share with you. Truly something we dont get to experience everyday. If you want to know more about the Bald Eagle, as I wanted to after I took this photo you can check out http://www.baldeagleinfo.com/
